Our Small Beginnings
We value family, friendships, and time above all else. Money can always be earned again, but time with the people we love is something we can never get back.
For many years, I had the privilege of caring for my parents. To be present for them, I stepped away from my position and chose a path that allowed me the flexibility to focus on what mattered most—family.
During that time, a friend asked if I would help with her bookkeeping part-time—truly part-time, just one day a week. With my husband’s encouragement and support, I said yes. What began as a simple way to help a friend and enjoy a small reprieve from caregiving soon became something much more meaningful.
What began as a small favor to a friend unknowingly set me on this journey.
Through working with small businesses and organizations, I discovered how much I genuinely enjoy helping others bring order, clarity, and peace of mind to their finances. More importantly, I realized that when business owners outsource their bookkeeping, they gain something incredibly valuable: more time and freedom to focus on the passion and purpose that inspired them to start their business in the first place.
What started from humble beginnings has grown into an opportunity to serve others in a way that is both personal and purposeful—and I am truly grateful for this journey.

Specializing in monthly bookkeeping, expense tracking, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and QuickBooks Online support, Melina helps simplify the financial side of running a business. Her goal is to give business owners more time to focus on growing their company while maintaining clear and organized financials year-round.
Known for her personalized approach and attention to detail, Melina works closely with each client to create efficient bookkeeping systems that support day-to-day operations, tax-ready books, and long-term business success.
Originally from Beaver, Pennsylvania, Melina and her husband, Brian, relocated to The Villages, Florida, in 2023. She proudly serves small businesses in The Villages, Central Florida, and Pennsylvania, providing remote services throughout the United States through Giffin Bookkeeping LLC.

Brelyn is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor with several years of professional bookkeeping experience. She joined Giffin Bookkeeping LLC in 2021 and plays a key role in delivering accurate, reliable bookkeeping services to small-business clients. Her work supports entrepreneurs and business owners with monthly bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online support, and organized financial recordkeeping designed to improve clarity, confidence, and financial efficiency.
As the youngest daughter of Brian and Melina, Brelyn grew up surrounded by small business values, dedication, and client-focused service—principles that guide her work today.
Now based in Pennsylvania after relocating from California in late 2023, Brelyn serves clients remotely throughout Pennsylvania, The Villages, FL, and Central Florida, and across the United States. She lives with her two beloved dogs, Toast and Basil.
